It would be awesome to see him play with this character variance while wearing that shirt.

Keep in mind that player colour will need to be readable. I'd suggest considering doing a "raglan sleeve" variation of the Bad Golf shirt.

the shirt is white with black text, but perhaps with the current colors it will still be visible or find colors to display the text. I'm also pretty sure Patrick will be happy we promote his game within this game :)

As you say, changing the text colour dynamically will open up the door to unreadable text (right now, yellow is a player colour that we're aiming for, and as we all know, yellow text on white is a no no).

Having coloured sleeves feels like a less problem prone solution.

right, but black text is good. Colored sleeves could work, can we keep the shirt white in that case?

Yeah, this is the typical style of "raglan sleeve" shirts.

I didn't want to change the body model with a long-sleeved shirt we have to I had to incorporate that with the Raglan sleeves.

I'd say as further homage, make the text Impact (or whatever it is on Patrick's RL shirt-- I think it's Impact). Otherwise, I dig the T-shirt with the ribbed cuffs-- adds visual interest while still being a subtle, simple T-shirt. Nice work!

Bottom middle is my favourite as it works with what we've currently got going on for the player model (cuffs become more visible with in-game lighting/shading).

Sent this to Patrick, he liked the bottom left best. More generally he said he would go with plaid.

@Cheeseness That was my plan all along! In fact I've already finished the top left one before I had to stop working on BG for the day. I'll work on it again tomorrow :D.

So if you want to focus, the top left which you have done, bottom left and bottom middle are probably the ones we should consider.

Top three concepts on the player model (collars are painted on)

I agree with your ranking. 1 (leftmost) and then 2.
Looks good as always. The lower text is not really readable, maybe increase the font a bit?

Thanks! I stole the whole Bad Golf 3 as an image from zazzle :P - which is why it's blurry and horrible. I'll look into making it clearer.
