Improve the sidebar menu

I'm looking at the sidebar menu on sub pages using my mobile and I'm wondering if we should make the sidebar appear before the content on mobile only. For desktop it looks good where it is right now.

Let me know what you guys thinks.

On some pages, this will add a lot of scrolling if we move the sidebar (as-is) before the content.

I feel like the natural progression of reading a page is:

1. read content
2. review sidebar for related content

You do make a valid point since the user might NOT on the page he's looking for.

To address this issue, I would propose that we implement a navigation dropdown menu for mobile before the content instead of moving the sidebar there: https://jsfiddle.net/solodev/5uy31hbg/

For this issue, why create a new solution when we have one already in collapsible nav menus? We can just put nested blocks such that:

I think we can achieve my concerns with a select dropdown or collapsible nav menu. I don't have a strong opinion either way since both should be fairly easy to implement.

I suggested a dropdown since it am thinking it's the easiest solution but the nav menu are easy as well if you follow the bootstrap documentation.

What is important from my comment is that I want to minimize the amount of scrolling before the content of the page.
