LED driver forward control testing

In order to make sure that the forward control works correctly and the parameters are reasonable, it is best to test the forward control circuitry piece by piece. Otherwise there is a relatively large danger to burn components.

List of steps

  1. Add a pull down resistor to the driving FET gate; this is missing from the schematics
  2. Test that the driving FET works correctly
  3. Test that the switching FET works correctly
  4. Add a coil and a resistive load, and test the almost-complete circuit
