panic after quite a number of read #249

Hi,
my node app opens a serial port and read some data in.
I put this app into a shell, it has a loop of 30 calling the above code, after running a few times of the shell script, got a panic in my macbook pro, this happens twice already, any idea why? here is the report from the mountain lion log:

this is driver causes the crash:

com.FTDI.driver.FTDIUSBSerialDriver 2.2.18
that is a driver converting usb to serial

@angelochen960, can we close this as an FTDI issue?

Can you reproduce the problem using a non-FTDI based device, something like an Arduino Leonardo or an Arduino Pro Mini?
