  • Added support for Android 6.0 Emoji Fonts! (Fixes Issue #21)

  • Made Emoji extraction and packaging more reliable
  • Small improvements and bug fixes

There has been a change in the way packaging Emojis works:

The type of Emoji Font that will be created depends upon the type of Emoji Font that was used during extraction.
For example, the Emojis in a directory created by extracting an Android Emoji Font will be packaged into an Android Emoji Font.

Also, please check out the updated Android Emoji Guide!

Enjoy!!! Thanks for all your support!

  • Fixed many crashes, including the ones described in Issues #19 and #20.
  • Emoji Flags can now be extracted from those fonts which include them! (However, they cannot be repackaged yet. I am working on that right now.)
  • Fixed the "Could not find 'post' table! Contact developer for help." message that some users were receiving.
  • Added progress dialog and confirmation dialog to the Error Reporter.
  • Added some helpful warnings in situations such as when a selected directory does not contain any Emojis. This fixes 2 or 3 crashes.
  • Added automatic CgBI -> RGBA conversion when packaging a NotoColorEmoji.ttf font. This also fixes a crash.

Enjoy! Let me know if you have any suggestions or bug reports :)

Adds support for Google CBDT/CBLC type fonts. Extraction for both Apple and Google fonts is now VERY quick, and extracted emojis are named by their unicode names for both types of fonts! Fonts which do not fall into either category fallback to a standard byte-by-byte extraction method with sequential naming.

Dramatic increase in extraction speed for Apple Emojis, and Apple Emojis are now named by their Unicode names. (for example, uE537.png)

Note: The progress bar will not move when extracting Apple Emojis. This will be fixed in a future update, but it shouldn't matter, as the emojis extract very quickly.
