How about a new upper level term “geographic boundary”

This would be the is_a parent of terms such as

surface
floor
bank

These terms currently lack is_a parents.

“floor” would be a new term

Not sure about this - sounds more like a defined class. Now that we have planet and the like, perhaps we can express surfaces, floors, and so on more realistically.
