Edit Channels - Category tab get: You are not authorized to access this page

Go to Channels in the cp, Category tab. Click on a category group name to open edit modal, you get a 'You are not authorized to access this page' malformed error.

Pretty positive it's a js error- when you click on it, if you watch the network tab, get is https://ee-740:8890/noad.php?/cp/categories/groups/edit/undefined - note the undefined. Whatever should be picking up the group id isn't.
