Repost from InfiTech Issue tracker:
ME Chest with Fluid Storage Cell and any liquids in the Universal Fluid Cell can give us any amount of any liquid. Liquids that were originally designed for pouring in cells (water, coolant, honey, etc.) multiply following method:

  1. Put 3 or more Universal fluid cells with any liquid in the ME Chest with Fluid Storage Cell. They must be put in in one go (not one by one)
  2. The amount of cells equals 64 and on the right, which should appear empty cells, will filled 64 cells. Now we can take any amount of cells, because they will appear again. If we have cell with molten solid (iron, redstone, gold, etc.) just put one cell into ME Chest with Fluid Storage Cell. Liquid from the cell will appear in the chest, but cell will be not empty and we can put it into the chest again.

Tested with:
ExtraCells: 2.2.69b
AE2: rv2-stable-1
Forge: 1403
IC2: 2.2.720

Ah, sounds like the same bug I posted TBH. The fluid storage bus is the culprit

Ok after updating to version 2.2.73 the bug is still present.

  1. Stil when I put for example stack of universal cells with molten redstone in the ME Chest with Fluid Storage I get 2000mB inside the storage, The 64 Cells I put in still are inside the input (left) slot, and extra 64 Cells will appear on the output (right) side.

  2. If I put one uni. cell and the empty one will appear on the right side, that one acts as a ghost item. When I take it out, and place it on top of other universal cells, it just dissapears (not raises the count). When i put two uni. cells with liquid, I will get back still just one empty cell, but this cell is "real" cell.

  3. If I try to take out liquid with multiple emty universal cells, I get 64 of them in the left side and right side.

  4. Also some times I am getting "infinite" ammount of cells when i try to pull them out with Shift-Click (same as when I shift click in cheat mode item from NEI - I get 111 items in one slot, which acts as unlimited)

I think this is the same bug. Infinite fluid dupe...

Place a fluid annihilation plane on one side of a block.
Place a fluid formation plane on the other side.
Put any fluid in the formation plane. It will start duplicating.

Actually a little bit of testing later, this can be exploited pretty hardcore by placing a Fluid Export Bus on the side of a Fluid Interface, set to export the fluid. Duplicates at the export rate. :/

I also have my storage set up with storage bus so I think I can agree with the earlier comment that is related to Fluid Storage Bus not correctly removing fluids.

I'm sure this is still happening?
