Assembly Instructions

  1. Clean the Module 2 circuit board
  2. Fix the Module 2 circuit board e.g. on a piece of cardboard
  3. Fix the Module 2 stencil on the piece of cardboard
  4. Spread soldering paste accross the Module 2 stencil
  5. Carefully lift the stencil from the Module 2 circuit board
  6. Check whether the soldering paste was properly applied to the soldering pads
  7. Use tweezers to place SMD resistor R1 on Module 2
  8. Place the SMD LEDs D1 - D8 on Module 2. Make sure that the polarity of the LEDs is correct!
  9. Carefully check the location of all SMD components
  10. Solder Module 2 in a reflow soldering oven
  11. Test the circuit board functionality
  12. Turn Module 2 upside down and solder the pin headers CONN1 and CONN2 on the circuit board
  13. Shorten the pin headers at the circuit board bottom with a wire cutter
  14. Clean the circuit board
  15. Test the circuit board functionality
