Lib_Altium

This repository is managed by FMCHUB. It provides auxiliary files for building system according to ANSI/VITA 57 FPGA Mezzanine Card (FMC) Standard with Altium Designer.

1. General information

Schematic and PCB footprint library for Altium Designer (Version 17). The demoboard shows schematics and footprints of the components. For now, 3D models of LPC and HPC connectors are equal. VITA 57 FMC Lib Altium Demoboard VITA 57 FMC Lib Altium

2.1 CC-HPC-10

FMC High-pin count connector, 400 I/Os, female, mounted on carrier card

Footprints:

    ASP-134486-01: CC-HPC-10, 1.27mm PITCH SOCKET ARRAY ASSEMBLY, FEMALE, VITA 57 CONNECTOR

2.2 CC-LPC-10

FMC Low-pin count connector, 160 I/Os, female, mounted on carrier card

Footprints:

2.3 Fiducial_Mark

Fiducial mark, width 1mm, clearance 3mm,

fiducial marks are not defined by the standard, but support assembly

    FIDUCIAL_MARK_DIAMOND: fiducial mark, diamond, 1 mm squared, 3 mm keep-out

    FIDUCIAL_MARK_ROUND: fiducial mark, round, 1 mm diameter, 3 mm keep-out

2.8 Primary_Thermal_Interface

Exposed copper pads for thermal interface of conduction cooled FMC modules (single width),

the primary thermal interface is placed in region 1 and 3 of the module.

2.9 Secondary_Thermal_Interface

Exposed copper pads for thermal interface of conduction cooled FMC modules (single width),

the (optional) secondary thermal interface spans region 1 to 3 of the module.
