ReOrder Post Within Categories

This fork of ReOrder Post Within Categories is no longer needed!

The plugin Author added my bugfix to the main plugin, so yo should feel free to use the plugin hosted on WordPress.org.

Thanks :D

A parallel version of the plugin located in the WordPress Plugin Directory.

This contains an important bug fix which I reported in the support forums here, but have yet to receive a response from the plugin author. The issue with the download you find on WordPress.org is a big one: If you update a post, it will reduce the number of posts displayed on the front end by one. Try to reorganize the posts, the last one will never show.

So install this plugin instead, everything else will work the same, except now you can update your posts without vanishing posts on the front end of your website.

Important for those of you who have been affected by the bug!

After you install this version of the plugin, deactivate and reactivate the plugin, which will remove all of your ordered lists. If you do not do this, your lists will continue to be reduced in size. Alternatively, update every post that can be reordered, which will save your current ordering.

I will continue to update this version

If I see that this plugin is updated on wordpress.org, I will update this copy to keep the update fix. If the plugin author fixes this bug, I'll put a big bold notice up top. So whenever you see that this plugin has an update, come to this GitHub repo for a safe update.
