Has anyone had any luck controlling an APA102 strip over hardware SPI with the BBC micro:bit? I can control it fine from a micro:bit using hardware SPI pins 13 and 15 using the https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_DotStar library and the https://github.com/sandeepmistry/arduino-nRF5 board and the Arduino IDE, but i've had no luck getting the FastLED library to work. I am using an Adafruit Dotstar branded strip.

I did have to comment out typedef uint8_t boolean; in platforms/arm/nrf51/led_sysdefs_arm_nrf51.h to get the code to compile (since it is defined as typedef bool boolean; in the sandeepmistry board library, but it does then compile and upload to the micro:bit, but then it doesn't update any LEDs. I've tried various combinations of using soft SPI and various speeds from 40 Khz to 8 Mhz with no luck.
