Hi,
I tried using FastLed on a arduino Nano and a GPS module, but it seems to be incompatible with GPS modules (thats use a Software Serial connection to receive data). (as soon as I launch a fastled.show(), all GPS data is stopped - dealing with interrupts I suppose)
I thought I could use the new arduino Every I bought (+ new hardware serial on the GPS module), but I realize ATMega4809 is not supported by the FastLed library, and I am not sure it would work anyway).

So is the problem the WS2812B which is not a SPI chipset ?
Do I need to find other Leds (like AP102 ones - SK9822(Similar APA102), etc...)

Sorry to post this on the github / Issues
Pierre

I have a very similar constellation, just that I am an idiot and actually got PCBs made before realizing my mistake. The WS2812Bs require tight timing which causes all communications to be broken by the FastLED library. And as you have noticed, the Arduino Nano Every is not supported either, because apparently there is assembly code in the library which needs to be rewritten for the different architecture. Just like me, you are shit out of luck and will have to replace your addressable LEDs as well as your controller, probably.
