Firebird Server crash when using InterBase gds32.dll as client library [CORE1011]

I created 2 connections to Firebird, one by using Fbclient.dll and one by using IB 8 gds32.dll - connecting works fine. As soon as I closed my test application, Firebird crashed. Obviously, the server should never crash.

Firebird 2 was started as an application.

Were both those connections done via localhost? I just tried to connect to a ODS11 database using IBExpert through two aliases, one set up to use IB8's gds32 (thanks) and another one - fbclient. No crash at disconnect or application exit.

Could you please be more specific about your actions? I'd really like to reproduce it.

Done via my machine name, port 3070 via a "services" alias.

So connect string:

martijn-ws/fb2:e:\data\.............. database.fdb

In Firebird.conf:

RemoteServiceName=fb2
RemoteServerPort=3070

in "services":

fb2 3070/ctp
