Retraction

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Retraction Speed' within the printer profile. Enabling this feature can reduce print quality since snapshots might trigger on retraction.

Deretraction

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'deretraction Speed' within the printer profile. Enabling this feature can reduce print quality since snapshots might trigger on deretraction.

Perimeters

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Perimeter Speed' within the printer profile. In general it is safe to enable this feature for high print quality as long as the perimeter speed is unique. This feature is enabled by default within the 'High Quality' profiles.

Small Perimeters

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Small Perimeter Speed' within the printer profile. Enabling this feature can reduce print quality since small perimeters can be exterior perimeters.

External Perimeters

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'External Perimeter Speed' within the printer profile. Disabling this feature can increase print quality greatly by preventing artifacts on exterior perimeters. It is VERY important that this feature is printed at a unique speed, and that no other slicer speed matches this setting.

Infill

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Infill Speed' within the printer profile. Enabling this feature can increase print quality greatly since infill is not visible and is therefore very suitable for capturing a snapshot. It is VERY important that this feature is printed at a unique speed, and that no other slicer speed matches this setting. This feature is enabled by default within the 'High Quality' profiles.

Solid Infill

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Solid Infill Speed' within the printer profile. Enabling this feature can have a slight negative effect on print quality, but can allow Octolapse to take snapshots on some layers that might otherwise be missed. This feature is enabled by default within the 'High Quality' profiles.

Top Solid Infill

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Top Solid Infill Speed' within the printer profile. Enabling this feature can have a slight negative effect on top surfaces, but can allow Octolapse to take snapshots on some layers that might otherwise be missed. This feature is enabled by default within the 'High Quality' profiles.

Supports

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Support Speed' within the printer profile. Since supports are generally single line features, enabling this feature can have a negative effect on support quality and stability.

Bridges

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Bridging Speed' within the printer profile. It is NOT recommended to enable this feature since taking a snapshot during bridging could prevent proper bridging.

Gaps

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Gap Fill Speed' within the printer profile. This feature is generally safe to enable since the gaps are not normally visible on the exterior surface.

Movement (travel)

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Movement Speed', which controls X,Y and Z axis travel speeds within the printer profile. Enabling this feature can reduce print quality since snapshots might trigger on lift and move to/from exterior perimeters.

Wipe

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while the printer speed matches a calculated 'Wipe' speed which equals 80% of the travel speed.

First Layer

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots to be taken on first layer features.
