Sound/Bluetooth loose settings

If I use headsets via Bluetooth and select the needed sound input and output, this is only saved until I restart the smartphone.

After that, the smartphone's Bluetooth recognizes the trust status with the headset i set but does not automatically set the previously set inputs and outputs.

Please make sure that the settings for each Bluetooth device remain, even if the smartphone has been restarted.

Currently, my Bluetooth is behaving like this...

Initially: When I turn on a familiar Bluetooth device, it doesn't connect automatically. Then I select the Bluetooth device from the Bluetooth list in the top menu. The connection is established and active. This step is consistent so far.

Now I put the Bluetooth headphones back in the charging cradle or leave the car (the connection between the devices is interrupted). The Bluetooth device is no longer displayed as connected in the top menu. This step is also consistent so far.

If I now reactivate the Bluetooth device, i.e., take the headphones out of the cradle or get back into the car, the Bluetooth device is connected, but the sound output is not connected to the Bluetooth device, but rather via "Output to Speaker." At this point, the sound output should have come via Bluetooth.

Now I have to unpair the Bluetooth device in the top menu and then reconnect it. Only now is the sound output correctly switched and comes via the BT device.
