Description

Develop a Shopify plugin that enables eCommerce stores on Shopify to accept Bitcoin and Lightning payments directly into their Blink account, utilizing the Blink GraphQL API.

Background

Shopify, a leading global eCommerce platform, allows merchants to set up their online stores and sell products. However, integrating Bitcoin and Lightning payments directly with Blink accounts is not currently a standard feature. This plugin would provide a critical bridge, enabling Shopify merchants to easily accept these forms of payment, thereby expanding their customer base and enhancing the versatility of their payment systems.

Task

Create a Shopify plugin that allows store owners to connect their Blink account via the Blink GraphQL API. This integration should enable the acceptance of Bitcoin and Lightning payments in a seamless and user-friendly manner.

Implementation Notes

The plugin should:

1. Offer a straightforward setup process within Shopify’s plugin ecosystem.
2. Enable secure authentication with the Blink GraphQL API.
3. Provide an option to receive payments in either Bitcoin or Stablesats.
4. Automatically deposit payments into the merchant's Blink account.

unfortunately i'm giving up because i'm trapped by shopify payment extension restrictions. maybe someone more experienced with shopify should do this. if you can find a way to do this, you can use the javascript code i wrote.
