The Midnight is a mod being developed by Cryptic Mushroom that adds a new, mysterious and scary dimension to explore. It is a dimension of darkness; the only light comes from crystals and the various life of the dimension. You may travel willingly to this dimension, though you may unwillingly encounter a rifter and be dragged into this strange and hostile world...
This is the official source code repository for The Midnight mod, originally made for SpookyJam 2018.
In the current version of The Midnight, rifts are currently not implemented as a rewrite of them is in progress. Here is a command to access The Midnight without need of a rift.
Teleport directly into The Midnight: /forge setdimension @p midnight:midnight
Official releases can be found on Midnight's CurseForge page. Alternatively, you may download releases from our repository's GitHub releases.
If you have found any issues with our mod, you can click here to create an issue.
Please note that if your issue is a duplicate of anyone else's, a developer may remove your issue in order to remove excess clutter. Jonathing will periodically sift through all issues to make sure they're valid.
If you know what you are doing and are able to setup the development workspace by yourself, you are free to make any contributions to the mod and send them as a pull request.
We may not accept pull requests that feature new mechanics and features over bug and code fixes.
