Hi, I wonder if this app is tested on windows ?
I have set all the permissions in the manifest and it seems that I set the correct vendorId and productId and manage to get the device with chrome.usb.getDevices but I can't with chrome.usb.findDevices.
I wonder if it's a problem with a locking state by the official driver ?

I use a Zebra thermal printer.

I manage to use the printer with generic usb driver instead of vendor specific's one.
Give a try to : http://zadig.akeo.ie/

sdaclin, which driver did you use? I have a Zebra ZM400. When I use WinUSB (libusb) I can successfully call claimInterface, but when I try bulkTransfer with the ZPL, I get a resultCode: 1 "Transfer Failed". Is there a trick to this?

I use winUsb. Which "out" port number do you take ?
2 is not always the good one. You have to figure it out of the
interface.address when you listInterface.

I've proposed a github pull request to add a little more comments on the sample code but the google team hasn't validated it yet.

Is that possible to prompt user to install the generic driver by starting the app?
