This command is a convenient way to resume work without re-entering the tags. However, it can be convenient to specify a start time as well:
{code}
$ timew track 9am - 10am tag1 tag2
$ timew track 11am - 1pm tag3
$ timew continue @2 5min ago
{code}
creates a new interval starting 5 minutes ago with tags 'tag1' and 'tag2'. Extending this to a range makes it possible to add a copy of an existing interval with new start and end date.
{code}
$ timew track 9am - 10am tag1 tag2
$ timew track 11am - 1pm tag3
$ timew continue @2 3pm - 5pm
{code}

I have extended the task to make continue also accept a range, not only a date.
