Step 1: Please download the full set at https://www.start.umd.edu/gtd/ This should provide you a large .xlsx file
Step 2: Run Read_In_Terrorist_Data.ipynb which creates a filtered clean file "GDT_2000_2019.csv" This will be used for all analysis
Step 3: Run Scripts for Location (Terrorist_Event_Distance_Calculation.ipynb) / Time (Day_Of_The_Week.ipynb) / Attack Type (group1_project.ipynb)
Step 4: Run Scripts in 'CS Terrorism Project Submit.ipynb' to analyze location data with maps and text analysis of terrorist attack motives
Step 5: Run last chunk in 'group1_project.ipynb' for the unit testing
