I'm using monit 5.6 as a monitoring tool on a web server with ISPConfig and it works as it should.
Maybe that could be the tool that could be used to have sysstatus page.

Another tool that could be of use could be munin, it has a graphical approach.
And that might be a little heavy.

Monit has previously been used for monitoring Grase hotspots. The end user is free to install it themselves. We want a built in monitoring page that monitors things that Monit can't monitor. We also don't want monit's automatic restarting feature, as that takes away a network admin's ability to manage things themselves (without first disabling monit).

Happy to hear what people want in a System Status page, so we can find the best solution.
