Instead of returning a PDF download link, in HTML, it'll just give the full URL to the PDF.

A format attribute could work with the options raw or html (default to html).

After careful thought it's much more useful to add a PDF merge tag which displays the PDF URL than to get the raw URL from the shortcode.

The format: {Name:pdf:500a2k20a1204}

Jake Jackson Add a {Name:pdf:ID} Merge tag
In certain circumstances it's useful to just get the Gravity PDF URL which is the purpose of the new {Name:pdf:ID} mergetag. It will function much like the [gravitypdf] shortcode in that it validates a PDF config before displaying the URL. If it isn't valid the merge tag is stripped and an error is placed in the log (Requires the Gravity Forms Logging plugin).
