I managed to delete the widget in this way:

  1. unlock/edit dashboard
  2. Click on pencil icon of widget you want to delete
  3. Uncheck "show pie chart" and "show data value"
  4. Try deleting the widget again

@gerryeng

Just in case it's related, I wanted to note that I'm having this issue (or one close to it) with Graylog 2.4.3 and Google Chrome 66.0.3359.139. I tried using Mozilla Firefox 60 and was able to remove the widgets without any trouble.

Removing the widgets in Chrome it's not working but with Mozilla Firefox 60 it works fine.

A fix for this will be included in the upcoming 2.4.5 release (#4808).
