🖐 Heya, I'm Hamid
I started programming at 16 and have since lived as a starry‑eyed freelancer, a jaded corporate zombie, and a happily exhausted one‑man‑army at a startup, but still can't get enough
- I've done a bunch of
C++Builder
in college and liked it - Then switched to 💩
Visual Basic
for work and hated it - Then switched to
C#
to keep sane and liked it a lot - Then learend a bit of
Swift
which was pretty cool if useless in Windows - Then spent some time with back‑end
ASP.net core
and tolerated it - Then briefly tried making some 💀
RESTful webAPI
and hated it - Then tried my hand at front‑end
VueJS
and liked it (JS
andCSS
be damned) - I also dabbled in
php
but didn't even finish learning it 'cuz yuck! - Then tried some
Python
but still fail to see the point of its popularity - And just when I was about to try
Go
- Uncle Bob Martin insisted I take a look at
Clojure
... let's just call it love at first sight
So now, on top of keeping up with front‑end dev (I mean
...💫 there should be an upper limit to "required" skills)
I'm currently learning Clojure: It's the answer to all my prayers and I want to code with it as both job & hobby, please
