If you want to move out, you need to give the Studentwerk timely notice. You can find the details in your rental agreement. For some residents it is a three-month period, for others it is a one-month period. Please check with the Studierendenwerk (wohnen@stwm.de) if you're uncertain.
If you have received a cancellation, you will also receive a date on which you must hand over your room, keys and everything else. The room will then be accepted by the caretaker.
Your apartment must be properly cleaned when you return it. Painting is not absolutely necessary if it is normal dirt. If you are not sure, just ask the caretaker.
The deposit will be transferred back to you after you move out. This can usually take up to three months.
Wenn ihr ausziehen wollt, ist eine bestimmte Frist einzuhalten. Diese könnt ihr aus eurem Mietvertrag entnehmen. Bei manchen Bewohnern war diese eine dreimonatige Frist, bei anderen eine einmonatige. Aus diesem Grund erkundigt euch bitte beim Studierendenwerk (wohnen@stwm.de), wenn ihr nicht sicher seid.
Wenn ihr eine Kündigung erhalten habt, bekommt ihr auch ein Datum, an dem ihr eure Zimmer, Schlüssel und alles weitere übergeben müsst. Das Zimmer wird dann von der Hausmeisterin abgenommen.
Eure Wohnung muss bei Rückgabe vernünftig geputzt sein. Das Streichen ist nicht unbedingt notwendig, wenn es normale Verschmutzungen sind. Wenn ihr euch nicht sicher seid, fragt einfach bei der Hausmeisterin nach.
Die Kaution wird euch nach dem Auszug zurücküberwiesen. Dies kann üblicherweise bis zu drei Monate dauern.
