The picture from 📁the brochure shows what each of the buttons on your doorbell does. There is no button to open the main entrance door from your room. You always need to go to the main entrance yourself to open it.
Also note that the sound is different depending on wether your bell is being rung from outside the dorm or in the hallway.

Wenn jemand klingelt müsst ihr immer hinunter laufen um die Tür zu öffnen. Die Klingel am Haupteingang und eure Klingel an eurer Eingangstür haben einen unterschiedlichen Ton. Probiert das am besten mal aus, damit ihr wisst, wo geklingelt wird.
