Steps to reproduce this issue

  1. click Search > Find text on server
  2. type in some regular expression into the text box
  3. nothing won't be found

Possible solution

Add "Regular expression" to "Match type" pulldown dialog, and then create WHERE clauses with REGEXP 'pattern' instead of LIKE 'pattern'.

This will work on MySQL/MariaDB, but probably won't on MSSQL and PG. That pulldown could be disabled on these. Or probably there is some compatible regex syntax for these which I just don't know yet.
