Steps to reproduce this issue

  1. Open data view of a specific table that contains multiple columns and has data in it (multiple rows)
  2. Select top left cell
  3. Hit "End" key

Current behavior

The "cursor" moves to the bottom right corner.

Expected behavior

Previously, the cursor would move to the outer most column (to the right), but would not change row position. So, for tables with many columns, it would simply move to the outer-most column.

Possible solution

Revert back to previous behaviour.

This should also be fixed for the "Home" key. Before, the home key would simply jump to the left-most column, without moving rows. Currently, however, the "Home" key jumps to the "top left" cell (moving row).

Environment

  • HeidiSQL version: 9.5.0.5415
