Hello,

I'm using RPi Model B. I installed last week rpi-update with apt-get command and ran it without problem. I previously update raspbian system (apt-get update/upgrade).
Today I do the same, (apt-get update/upgrade and rpi-update) but the system crash and doesn't boot anymore.
Last commands seen on the screen :
//root/.rpi-firmware/vc/hardfp/opt/vc/lib/libGLESv1_CM.so' ->//opt/vc/lib/libGLESv1_CM.so'
//root/.rpi-firmware/vc/hardfp/opt/vc/lib/libkhrn_client.a' ->//opt/vc/lib/libkhrn_client.a'
//root/.rpi-firmware/vc/hardfp/opt/vc/lib/libEGL_static.a' ->//opt/vc/lib/libEGL_static.a'
/usr/bin/rpi-update: line 73: 2360 Segmentation fault cp -vR "${FW_REPOLOCAL}/vc/hardfp/"* "${ROOT_PATH}/"

segmenation fault on copy command?
I'm afraid that sounds like corruption. Do you have a backup?

I re-install Raspbian on SD card and update it. Then I install rpi-update with apt and run it successfully. All seems to work fine now.
Thanks for your quick answer.
