I was able to test the mechanism in a console app, but not yet on a Seq instance.

  • Starts a EventProcessorHost to consume messages from Azure Event Hub
  • Creates a preview Nuget as Artifact during pullrequest CI
  • Creates a release after merge to master branch
  • Allows to disable verbose logging
  • TestConsole for local testing without Seq

On my local machine everything works fine and fast. But as an App in Seq it acts very slow and throws exceptions... is this app started in a special way in Seq?

Hi @nblumhardt
Now the project works only on docker - smooth and quick. I think there is an issue in Seq.App.GenericHost on Windows for backward compatibility, maybe? Are there some dependencies which I have to mention in the case of .net 4.5?

That's awesome! I'll try to carve out some time this week to spin up the Windows version and see what might be going on, there 👍
