Make a category list

It would be great if the apps/programs are classified in to different categories. In the casks folder it should be classified like Developer tools, Media players, Photo, Browsers. And in the command line there should be an option to list them.

brew cask list categories
brew cask list categories developer-tools

It would be very convenient and organized.

This idea has been submitted numerous times since pretty much the start of Cask, however, Cask is a package manager, not a software discovery service. The biggest reason for this is due to the fact that such categorization is somewhat subjective - does vagrant go under developer-tools? virtualization? containers? etc.
