Mountain Lion's expr doesn't support '/' regular expression in JRuby and Jython launchers #13583

When launching jruby or jython under Mountain Lion, the line

if expr "$link" : '/' > /dev/null; then

causes a syntax error. If you escape the single slash in the regular expression as in

if expr "$link" : '\/' > /dev/null; then

the shells launch correctly.
