After my latest brew update:

==> Downloading http://kmkeen.com/jshon/jshon.tar.gz
######################################################################## 100.0%
Error: SHA1 mismatch
Expected: db7ec186d48b2e1937f7b5fbb8dfda298997b32c
Actual: e8d710f621ed42ab126c921f87bc8906af16cd1d
Archive: /Users/stephen/Library/Caches/Homebrew/jshon-8.tar.gz
(To retry an incomplete download, remove the file above.)

I don't see a new release of jshon (still 8). Did I miss something obvious?

It is, sadly, an unversioned URL, so if it changes there's no stable previous version to link to.

Makes sense. Still, the version published on the jshon website agrees with the version in the formula file.

In any case, is the homebrew 'solution' to just to sigh deeply, update the hash, and move on?

Pretty much.

And/or ask upstream nicely to consider versioned releases.
