I added the option to install the development version (currently 0.9-rc-1) rather than the release version (currently 0.8).

I'm new to ruby, git, and github, so if I've done something badly/inefficiently/etc., I'm happy to make any suggested changes.

This should be done using the "head" facility; see maven.rb for an example.

Oh, I didn't realize HEAD could be used if you weren't literally building from the HEAD/tip. I've changed the formula to use HEAD:

Yeah, we're kind of loose on "HEAD" actually meaning the very tip of source control, and use it for "rcs for next version" as well. It's possible we'd go url/devel/head in the future, but don't need the complexity yet.
