Please could the subversion formula be updated to v1.7?

This would be nice!

+1 (didn't there use to be a way to vote/star github issues?)

We would gladly accept a patch for this; the maintainers are too busy / don't use svn enough to tackle this directly.

@dfabulich dfabulich Upgrade Subversion to 1.7.1, fixes issue #8078
SubversionDeps is no longer a part of Subversion, so we no longer reference it.

I also deleted references to two old patches which no longer apply cleanly; I think they're no longer needed.

I installed subversion with --java and and it worked fine without the "find Java headers" patch.

I added and deleted files to subversion with Unicode characters; on my Lion box with Subversion 1.7, there was apparently no need to use the --unicode-path option, so I removed that, too.

Thanks! This patch works well for me. Installed with zero options on 10.7.2. Glad to have compatibility with my working copies shared via NFS from other machines.

There is an open formula for 1.7.1; however it fails to build for me on Snow Leopard.

see: Homebrew#8453 (comment)

Updating to svn 1.7.2, adding sqlite support for snow leopard's old OEM sqlite.

see Homebrew#8453 (comment)

Only change the sqlite directory if sqlite is managed with homebrew. (which is only required for snowleopard)
