Can you be more specific (e.g., the exact error that is produced)? "code does not compile" is pretty much implied here.

Hi, I updated the original commit. The problem is that clang does not support unqualified lookups in c++ templates (also see: http://clang.llvm.org/compatibility.html#dep_lookup)

You can use a heredoc to avoid the really long line here:

cause <<-EOS.undent
