We prefer https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-binary for binary-only software

Source is available, but we need the whole OCaml toolchain and compilation can take up to an hour.

So I guess I'll submit the recipe to homebrew-binary.

We can make a bottle (our binary packaging format).

Does that mean that I have to write a recipe that builds from source as well?

The OCaml toolchain involves two compilers, two standard libraries, a package manager, and a handful of other third-party libraries, so I want to avoid building from source. That's precisely why the author provides a binary release. I'm not familiar with the concept of bottles, though. What should I know apart from https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew/wiki/Bottles?

Sorry, with bottles you provide a formula that builds from source and then our bot turns that into a binary package when we pull it. Feel free to either turn this PR into a from-source formula or close it and add this to homebrew-binary instead. Thanks!
