How to connect to chat?

how does one go and connect this to twitch? I only know how to use stuff. if I can just click and open it then it's worthless to me. there is NO faq explain anything and when I use the internet it's all nerd speak.

You will probably have a better chance with this fork of the project. But I haven't tried it myself. At least it gives some install instructions.

Download the latest release on the release page.

For Authenticated login (which doesn't effect your viewer count) you need to grab your OAuth from this site here. Enter your Username, OAuth, and the desired channel name in the upper left, and then click "Press to Connect".

For Anonymous login, simply enter the desired Channel name into the upper left and click "Press to Connect". Anonymous login always effects your viewer count even when connecting to your own chat, but it only adds 1 extra viewer.

So the Installationen is to simply unpack the zip and run the exe.
