Creating a Publication

The OSCI Toolkit authoring tools provide a custom content type titled "Publication". This content type is used to store publication metadata and is the starting point for creating a new publication.

Step 1

To get started proceed to the "Add Content" section of the Drupal installation. Here you will see a list of content types, similar to the following:

Select the content type title "Publication":

After selecting the "Publication" content type enter the appropriate information for the publication to be created.

Step 4

If you have already entered section content, you can manage the Table of Contents for the publication with the "Content" tab. To add sections to the publication select the "Content" tab. This will display an auto-complete field that can be used to add sections of content to the publication.

Step 5

When done editing the publication click the save button at the bottom of the page.
