There is a risk of data loss with pre-release versions, so be sure to protect and back up your data.
Using a virtual environment or a non-primary machine is a good way to do this.

Install CasaOS v0.4.1-alpha

curl -fsSL https://get.casaos.io/v0.4.2-alpha | sudo bash

Update to CasaOS v0.4.2-alpha from older version

curl -fsSL https://get.casaos.io/update/v0.4.2-alpha | sudo bash

Uninstall CasaOS v0.4.2-alpha

casaos-uninstall
