For when I started to work with Nagios some years ago, an horizontal scroll bar has been a bit annoying. And it's also the case on Icinga (according to the last git version).

May I propose a little change in the index.html file:

  • enlarge a little bit the frame for the menu from 210 to 220
  • set scrolling="auto" to only keep the vertical scroll bar

Attached a patch for that tiny change.

215 fits better than 220, if having a scrollbar. rest will be in git shortly, thx.

For me, 215 is not enough. The horizontal scrollbar disappears from 217. I proposed 220 to fit to almost all environments. Tested on firefox and IE.
