I'm looking for a button or something like that to declare if I wanna search (via the Show Hosts window) only for hosts or for hosts with services.

The problem is that if I wanna schedule a downtime for all webservers (websrv01 - 09) and the services and I'm using the search window I just can schedule a downtime for checked services but not for the host itself.

We are aware of this problem and this is a pretty good use case.

At the moment it try's to find a match and the first match get#s displayed.

The order is

  • host with Service (Service view)
  • host without services (host view)
  • hostgroup
  • servicegroup

We want to resolve this problem with a live search. There you will be able to choose between the 4 types when searching for something.

For now there isn't an easy solution. We try to target this in version 1.6

  • Assigned to set to ricardo
  • Target Version set to 1.7

Have a look into #1981 . should be fixed with current "dev/cgis" git.
