This issue has been migrated from Redmine: https://dev.icinga.com/issues/11862

Created by mfrosch on 2016-05-31 15:03:24 +00:00

Assignee: mfrosch
Status: Closed (closed on 2016-08-08 08:20:04 +00:00)
Target Version: 2.5.0
Last Update: 2016-08-08 08:20:04 +00:00 (in Redmine)

Icinga Version: 2.4.10
Backport?: Not yet backported
Include in Changelog: 1

Currently Icinga 2 presents a OK state after returning from a soft non-ok state as SOFT.

This is incorrect and caused trouble with other parts of status evaluation, flapping as an example.

We need to be really careful with this fix:
https://git.icinga.org/?p=icinga2.git;a=commitdiff;h=b2e77470037c661793dc20ffe764a6a084a0e731;hp=88dff685671dac67e4bfbd7931035bbe8963fed2;js=1

I think the removal of SOFT-OK will cause recovery notifications, and might cause other problems.
