Summary

Multimedia is handled with GStreamer in WebKitGTK and WPEWebKit. The WebKit ports for Apple platforms rely on Apple-specific frameworks. In this session we will review the current status and plans for the future.

Rooms have names just for fun and to help identifying them. It doesn't mean that the room name should match the topics of the breakout sessions that happen there.

This year we have 3 rooms, you can check things at: https://github.com/Igalia/webengineshackfest/wiki#scheduling

• HTML room: correspond to rooms 9 and 10 in the venue
• JS room: rooms 4 and 5
• CSS room: rooms 1 and 2

We thought it would be easier to identify the rooms by names, that's all. And we pick 3 names quite related to the web platform 😇

Ah! I was confused, and I think I won't be the only one :/ Maybe next time use different names, not directly related with specific web techs... I dunno, use Web platform famous names such as Tim Berners-Lee or similar. My 2cents.
