Summary
Signals is a common pattern among frameworks to implement a reactive data flow across front-end applications. They are "cells" that hold a value, notify their consumers of changes to that value, and make sure that the rendered UI automatically shows the correct state.
After being implemented independently by many frameworks, it's now a Stage 1 proposal. It'd be great to discuss what's the state of the proposal, how it fulfills the needs of frameworks, how it would be useful for developers using the web platform directly and thus how it should integrate with other web APIs.
