README.md

This music is NOT (yet?) available in the public domain. All songs in this folder are freely licensed, though.

music by audionautix.com // Music by Jason Shaw (Audionautix.com):

http://audionautix.com

"All music in this online collection created by Jason Shaw. Released under Creative Commons License 3.0. You are free to use the music (even for commercial purposes) as long as you provide a link to this website from yours OR credit us with, 'music by audionautix.com'. Must be part some other created works. No further permission is required. If you need a signed release form, click link below."

There is a COPYRIGHT RELEASE FORM available in this folder. And there is a screenshot proving that he meant CC-by (Attribution) 3.0 when saying "Creative Commons License 3.0".

Music by Andrew Hendrickson (YouTube: "SpudDastardly"):

When being asked about reusing his "Korobeiniki for Three Pianos" song:

"Sure. […] I didn't clean up the sheet music at all. It's exported from Finale, and it has some ridiculous dynamic marks which I used to get the program to play it as I wanted. All of my music is licensed under a CC BY license, so feel free to do what you'd like with it, credited to me, Andrew Hendrickson. Send me a link sometime if you'd like so I can see what you do with it."

When he wrote this, version 4.0 of the licenses was the most recent version, released at least one year (I think even two or three) before his statement.

A screenshot of the conversation is available in this folder.

music by Myuu (Myuuji on YouTube / Nicolas Gasparini)

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiSKnkKCKAQVxMUWpZQobuQ

"I am myuu. A musician who loves writing dark piano songs. They are free to use as long as credit is given. I always try to make the music sound creepy and beautiful at the same time. In addition to my piano and horror soundtracks I also do orchestrated pieces and industrial/experimental work."

There are screenshots proving the CC-by license of the original videos available in this folder. And there is a screenshot of the video platforms official help entry about the selected license.

"Mit Creative Commons-Lizenzen können YouTuber anderen Personen die Nutzung ihrer Werke gestatten. Auf YouTube können Nutzer ihre Videos mit einer Creative-Commons-Lizenz vom Typ CC-BY ( https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/legalcode ) versehen.
