The Nora is also powered by Electric Imp, uses the same magical Blink Up technology and runs the same Squirrel. There are two major differences between the Nora and the April board:
- The Nora is battery powered. Everything from set up is completely wireless. And the Nora comes with the battery pack already attached. No loose cables or needing a separate container for your batteries.
- The Nora comes with 6 different sensors built in that measure 14 different things: Temperature (two different sensors), Humidity, Pressure, UV, IR, and Ambient Light, Proximity, Acceleration (x,y,z), and Orientation (x,y,z).
The Nora can be purchased on Amazon right now for $50.
