Why

The ALBA proof system allows to create a succinct proof of knowledge for a set of elements. We want to leverage its centralized Telescope version for signature aggregation for Mithril in a PoC and experiment with having multiple proof system on certificate chains.

What

Use Telescope ALBA to create a new aggregation proof system for Mithril and implement the support of multiple aggregation proof systems in the STM library in a PoC.

How

• Implement a new aggregation proof system based on Telescope in the STM library
• Compute Mithril protocol parameters depending on ALBA parameters or vice versa
• Implement support for multiple aggregator proof system in STM library
• Implement support for multiple aggregator proof systems in the certificate chain (creation/validation) with aggregator and client
• Assess the possibility of having unstable follower aggregators running ALBA proof system
• Assess the compression gain from ALBA aggregation
