I want to call attention to an important feature. JoshEdit placed all keyboard shortcuts into a settings file, which is a really good idea for several reasons.

  1. The user may want to change our key combinations to better suit them or use something more comprehensive.
  2. The user may want the same key combinations as the program we augment to avoid having to learn two separate key configurations for superficially the same program.
  3. It makes changing or implementing all future key combinations very easy as they are all located in a single place.

Studio recently added a menu to configure these combinations as well.

As of dc99fbf I have moved almost all of the keyboard shortcuts to their own properties files, KeyEvents still need moved however.

The implementation simply utilizes getKeyStroke to let you format a number of combinations.
